ADOPT A DORPER

ADOPT A DORPER

Eastern Dorpers and White Dorpers has started Australia’s first Adopt a Dorper initiative for people who would like to be involved with Dorpers but simply don’t have the land or the time. There are usually several young lambs, or older ewes and rams who are quietly living their senior years in comfort, to choose from. The adoption fee contributes to food and vaccination expenses for a year and regular updates on your adoptee. Visits are most welcome.

Please call or email us if you are interested in adopting your own Dorper (or White Dorper):

Some of our lovely Dorpers, White Dorpers and Mottley Dorpers who you can adopt are:

Name: BRYCE
Hello, my name is Bryce. I was Peter and Penny’s first ram, and although I’ve had many great years living with them at Wallaby Hills, I’m now starting to get a bit old and I’ve developed arthritis. So, I’ve decided to retire and look after the young rams and wethers. It’s a great life, so if you are keen to adopt me to help Peter and Penny look after my old-age medications etc., please fill out the adoption form.

Name: ZEBIDEE
Hello everyone! I’m a very pretty coloured young fellow named Zebidee. I am a ‘Mottley Dorper’ (some even refer to me as an ‘Extreme Mottley Dorper’!). Anyway, I am happily living at Wallaby Hills with Peter and Penny, and I am good friends with Bryce and all the other rams and wethers. I have a very important job of leading everyone into the yards when Peter and Penny need to drench or vaccinate us to keep us healthy. If you are keen to adopt me, please fill out the adoption form.
